Hi! I'm Tara

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist with a neurospicy brain who enjoys working with others with neurodivergence (ASD, ADHD, HSP, and others) as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I work with a small number of clients so that I can give each of them the very best of my extensive experience and knowledge so that they see change quickly. I am likely the most laid-back and non-judgmental professional you will encounter. I love a good joke and a sarcastic comment and will make lots of references to nerdy things like Star Wars and comic books. I will also keep track of where we were when we get off on a tangent so you don't have to try to remember.

My Mission

We are all doing the best we can with what we have right now. This is both my personal and professional philosophy, and it means that if you are not doing as well as you want to be, then my mission to help you find what is necessary to live better. I changed careers, went to graduate school, and obtained specialized training so that I can give you what you need to stop living in burnout, anxiety, and overwhelm.

I see you.

I came to this profession due to experiences in my early life, and I know I am in the right place as I love my job! My favorite part is watching my clients grow and change in positive ways, so if you are highly motivated to do something different, know that your brain doesn't work like others' brains work (diagnosed or self-identified), and want to enjoy telehealth in Texas, then this is the place for you.
